If you haven't already figured it out from my header, it is once again SHARK WEEK (also known as Megan's favorite holiday)!! As usual, Kristen has started up her wonderful Shark Week drawing challenge--one shark per day. This year we're also using it to try and get our blog-updates rolling again. So without further ado, here are sharks #1 and #2.
Day one was the
I thought I'd read up and try to actually learn a little this time, so I checked out the wiki entry (you can learn, too!). My favorite fun fact about oceanic whitetips is that it is an "aggressive but slow-moving fish [that] dominates feeding frenzies..." :
(if it's a pie feeding frenzy then I'm the same way!)

But seriously, there are hardly any pictures of the bramble shark on google images. Poor bramble shark.
