On Sunday I had the opportunity to go drawing at the Wildlife Waystation with good chums Alice Herring and Megan Nicole Dong. It was really incredible to get to draw all sorts of animals up close. The Waystation has done a lot for so many animals and is a really wonderful organization, so if you have the chance I definitely recommend visiting! (thanks for the invite, Alice!). Sketches!
(yes. this actually happened.)

Yay!! Haha, so many good ones. The mandolin and butterfly bears at the bottom are definitely my faves.
Holy smokes, these sketches are so good!
Your lines always have such unique character about them. Bears with mandolins? I smell an idea for a disney movie!
What a fun place to go sketch. I've been meaning to get out there.

I don't know if they do public tours (we got in through a friend) but if you ever have a chance to go, take it! The place is beautiful, and you get to see the animals up close in a way you never could at the zoo! :)
